Work History
Past Positions
I am a life long learner looking to experience the world we live. Starting at a young age I have taken an interest in working with young children to help them improve their lives and grow as people. Education is a vital part to life and learning from the experiences we have is important to being succesful.
April 2019 - June 2019
Occasional Teacher - Marmora Sacred Heart Catholic School
Through this experience I was to ensure a safe, welcoming and professional classroom that respected a variety of cultures, thoughts and opinions. This allowed me to get to know the students I was working with and through this experience I took a deep understanding of how young adults deal with mental health on a day to day basis within schools.
October 2018 - December 2018
Sports Without Borders Leader, Sweden
Through this program I was in charge of teaching a variety of sports to children. I had to foster an environment of positivity, inclusion, and help encourage positive relationships with physical activity. In order to do this I served as a role model by participating in all lessons and showing interest in the lives of others. This supported my interest in mental health through seeing first hand the problems that youth can face with self esteem issues.
September 2016
Campus Kitchens Worker
Through this experience it allowed me to be more aware of the struggles people are going through. I served and supported people who are less fortunate or do not have the opportunities and resources that I have.
