About Me

My name is Kennedy Marchment, I have just recently (2018) graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I also completed a minor in Sports Studies and Exercise Science.

Currently, I am a professional hockey player completing my Masters in Health Studies, while living abroad in Sweden. I am passionate about the mental health world and helping the people who are affected by it. Our world needs to become more educated and aware of the effects it can have on people that you are in contact with everyday.

Being a young adult another aspect of life I am interested in is social media and becoming more educated on the consequences it can have on an individuals life . Incorporated in this website, you can find blogs, resources, and information about the causes social media can have on self esteem, depression, anxiety and so many other mental health issues.

I have worked with young children in many different aspects of life and hope to continue to pursue this role in the future. Once schooling is completed I am hoping to move back to Canada to be close to my family and friends.
